Trash Can Swap – Update!

Residents who have received their new Republic Services carts should have their old Waste Management (WM) carts picked up this week. Residents should continue to use the WM trash and recycling carts until they are removed.

In addition, please continue to leave the carts by the curb through the week, until they are removed by WM. The Town has been informed by WM that they are running behind schedule in cart removal. If they have not been removed by the first week of October, please call the Town at 972.539.SERV (7378).

Please note, Code Enforcement will not be issuing warnings/citations to residents for carts at the curb for prolonged periods of time during this transition. For more information about the waste collection service provider change (effective October 1), please visit www.flower-mound.com/trash2016.

Trash Can Swap

Residents who have received their new Republic Services carts should have their old Waste Management carts picked up that week on their service day or the day after. Half of the routes will be delivered/collected the week of September 19, and the remainder will be delivered/collected the week of September 26.

Please leave your WM carts at the curb on your service day and the day following until dark. If they have not been removed by the first week of October, please call the Town at 972.539.SERV (7378). Please use your WM carts until they have been removed. If all you have are Republic carts, you may use those and Waste Management will service them through the end of September.

Please note, Code Enforcement will not be issuing warnings/citations to residents for carts at the curb for prolonged periods of time during this transition. For more information about the waste collection service provider change (effective October 1), please visit www.flower-mound.com/trash2016.
